So, I see to wheel with you I need to get into "Shovel Shape". Maybe I'll have to go do day labor once a week, or volunteer landscaping, or even just shovel my walk??

Or you can hire day labor and bring with... one's good for you, the other for the economy

Oh that looks like fun! How was the FJ without chains in these conditions?

If I hire day labor, it won't be for shoveling... or, well something like that... or, well, maybe it's better if I just don't post sometimes... :^)

Given my rig doesn't have a lift (yet) it's actually pretty shocking how well it does. Last time we were up, the snow was crusty and the A-Trac worked out very well, this time around though it was nothing but powder and A-Trac didn't do so well.

The second pic, it looked like I was going to have to strap up and be pulled through, but I turned the A-Trac off and went right through without a problem.

I bottomed out in a couple spots, think I was pulled out a total of three times, which was pretty average with everyone else.

Eric was the man out front on the way back out. IMO he had the best rig out of any of us (not just an FJ thing either), we chained him up before leaving to cut a path for us back up. The start of the trail back out of the meadow was pretty deep. His first attempt back up buried the tires almost to the top and we dug quite a bit out and still didn't hit dirt.

Overall this run was pretty fun, at one point though I was beginning to think we were going to be stuck out there, but we made it through.

Met some more of the CoTTORA members and they are pretty awesome, didn't matter what you were driving they just want to have fun (the way it should be).

Awesome. Thanks for the reply. Absolutely right about forgetting what you drive and just have fun!
