Looking for snow but only found mud, chipped windshield and a check engine light. Still had a blast so its all good.
right after we left the gas station I got this.
I don't think this one can be fixed, it is big (nickel size) and has legs already. I will call AAA tomorrow and see if I have any windshield coverage. If not I will wait it out till it gets worse.
Me and my buddy in his 4runner got to the trail head and soon after and headed up going through some big mud right away (mudloving would have been proud)
got out of the canyon and started heading up
it was a nice easy ride up to North Fork with only one close call with a motorcycle, No snow just mud so far, normally we would see patches of the white stuff by north fork but there was nothing still hopeful that there would be some at the top.
when we got to the North Fork we took a break like always the water was high but not the worst we had seen only about 12"-18" at the middle of the road. worst that we have gone through was probably 24" and moving fast that one was scary.
Got to the other side and had to take a couple more poser shoots.
After crossing the the river my Check engine light came on along with all the traction control lights and ABS looks like a trip to the dealer is needed this week.
Never found any snow on the road just some patches on the side. The rain last night had melted most of it. Still had a good time with my friends playing in some mud and being out side, getting side ways a couple times and driving with the window down while it was raining.
Beautiful day! Hope you all were able to enjoy your weekend.

I can't remember if the check engine light came on when I cut my wheel sensor cable but try checking all your wheel sensor cables for cuts and if they're fine then disconnect clean/blowout the connections and reconnect. It's worth a shot.
Nice trip report and pics, sorry about your windshield.

All right I'll call Larry up in a couple weeks, I have to buy some other stuff this week before I can get a scan gauge.
Ya thats my guess at what the problem is as soon as it stops raining and I can find a dry piece of pavement to craw on I will get under the FJ and check it all out.
Thanks I had a good time, I can live with the windshield for now I just hope it doesn't spread to fast.

The light came on a couple hours after I filled up plus all the traction control lights are on. I will check it out any way.

Looks like fun Jeshy. I bet AAA can glue that window for you.
Not sure this one could be glued/fixed it is kind of bad I will call up the guy that did my last chip and see what he says. (had a hard time with the last one since it had a couple arms already)
good time for sure. I glad I have something like this so close to home.
