Re: Solo on the Mojave Road

I have a rednose too and he loves riding in the car, that hair gets stuck in the interior though. i usually have the seats down so he can sit up closer between us. I am still trying to figure out what to do in regards to him sliding around. Anyone have any suggestions?

Mine has learned to lean into the seat and anchor herself down as best she can.

Hi Vince..

What an awesome pictoral essay you put together for us. I enjoyed it very much. I can't wait to get and make this run.

If you ever want a second FJ to keep you and the missus company, drop me a line.

Re: Solo on the Mojave Road

Great trip and photos!

I am going to be in the are sometime in October and want to run the Mojave Road. I'll do it solo if I have no other choice, but I woul really like to get a few others to run with. If anyone wants to join up for this run, let me know, as my schedule is somewhat flexible.

I've already got a copy of the "Mojave Road Guide" on the way as well as maps of the preserve and nearby areas, but having someone along with actual experience on the road would be great

Also...anyone have a list of "must-haves" for a trip here? I mean aside from the obvious ones....water, food, shelter & extra gas. You can check my sig for my current buildout of my rig. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Solo on the Mojave Road

Looks like a great trip. I would like to explore the Mojave Road some day. I am not sure if I would go solo though (thoughts of the Hills Have Eyes). Thank you very much for sharing and for the sticker I bought on Saturday.

I am always up for another run on the Mojave Road.

Let me know when your plans are more firm and I'll see if we can make it.

As far as other "must haves", you will want to bring a toy frog, and maybe even a "gnome" to place around the "mail box" (you'll see it in the guide book).

Hope to see later...

Yeah, glad you like the stickers.

It's always best to go with someone else, good luck...
