I looked at my muddy FJ today and started to think about heading out in the middle of the week. It's dirty anyway...

I just got tired of hitting the same trails over and over so this was just exploring what else is out there. I didn't want to ask too many people to join me on a trail that I have never been on. For what I've seen of White Mountain Trail, I'd say it's not 2 WD friendly. It's not a hardcore trail like Dishpan or Holcomb, but you'll need lockers in sections. I've not done the otherside, so I can't comment on the difficulty. If it's similar to the west side, I would think running the trail east to west would be easier then west to east. This is definitely a trail that I'll return. Maybe bring a larger group when I have run it through a few times.

The elevation is 6200 to 7700.
