Sevenmile 3/16 Run

The day started at 10am, 5280FJ, RockyMtnHigh, and TonysBlueFJ met at RockyMtnHight's house. We headed out at 10:15 to meet with the rest of the gourp at Ted's Corner. We met sdlsatcom, BLUETHUNDER, spincycle, 1 FJ40, 1 Rubicon (69fj on this forum), and 4 Tacomas.

This is an easy trail to run. We encountered mud, water, snow, ice and everything in between.

The leader of our group was one of the Tacoma's he had done the trail before. TonysBlue took up the rear.

Half way up to the top there was a spot where you could stop for lunch or just a break. At this stop were some boulders, where you guessed it, some of the Tacoma's had to try to crawl over them. Here is the result of that:

They got high centered. The first one the guys were able to push him off. The second, the one in the pic, had to be pulled off with the help of the FJ40.

We continued on to the top where we encountered a very deep and high snow drift. There was some discussion to dig through it but the snow started moving in and we decided to turn around and go back the way we came. The snow started coming down heavy at times. This is a pic on our way back down. HI sdlsatcom, nice rig.

A great time was had by all.

Re: Sevenmile 3/16 Run

Hey wait a minute, you left the part out about us drooling over the brand new Ferrari F430 Spider in my neighbors garage, that was the whole reason we were late at Ted's (someone's kids had to sit in it)

I am sure there are some pics, just none of us going wheeling that day thought to take any, we were too busy trying to keep our slobber off our shoes.

I'll see if my neighbor has some on his camera.

And no I don't blame you for sitting in it, they told me to, I declined the offer after sitting in their last one I had a goofy look on my face for a week.

Re: Sevenmile 3/16 Run

Alright, here's some more pics (sorry no Ferrari tho)

On the way to the trail head, this was pretty impressive seeing 12 rigs working their way down the road.

Trail shots.

From left to right, sdlsatcom, me and 5280FJ (he's a trip ain't he)
