Re: Tolland State Forest 4/05 pics

sorry to bring up an old thread but I'm going to be going to tolland this sunday with a bunch of jeeps and anpparently a couple of FJs. My rig is stock except for rock rails, wheels and tires 16" tundra steelies and BFG A/Ts. I have a portable trailer hich mounted winch so I feel pretty confident but I was just wondering if I should expect anything that a stock FJ can't handle.

Just be careful. There are places to bottom out and some deep water crossings but I belive NACHO and The Stig were both stock when we were there. It's a nice ride. Have fun.

Yup I'd say it's very stocker friendly! Just go slow through the water crossings and take care over the rocks. what size tires do you have? NACHO had stock size. I was a bit better off with 33s
