Moab FJ/Dirt Bike Trip 5-4-08

My dad and I took a five day trip down to Moab last week and had a great time. We had to get out of the artic tundra of Wyoming for a few days and could not think of a better place to go. We stayed at Horsethief campground and ran several trails with the FJ and our dirt bikes.

This is my first try at posting larger pics, so I hope everything turns out ok.

Here is our first day. Took a drive up Sand Flats Road to LaSal Mountain Loop Road on our way to Top Of The World trail.

Most of day two was spent on the dirt bikes to Mineral Point Road and Mineral Bottom Road/White Rim trail.

Ended day two by going into Maob for dinner on Long Canyon Road.

Day three was spent on Klondike Bluffs trail and Hurrah Pass.

After going through Arches National Park we went south of town to check out Hurrah Pass.

The last day was spent back on the bikes going to Spring Canyon Point and Secret Spire.

Driving back home through Colorado.

We stopped for fuel at Yampa and it was already getting colder.


Then we were back in the artic while eating lunch on Rabbit Ears Pass. Still plenty of snow up there. Oh well, I enjoyed the nice weather in Moab and it was a great trip.
