Its kind of quiet here in anticipation of the Ouary report. I am going to post up some photos of a trip I did back on July 4th long weekend.
Monache Meadows is situated on the south side of Sequoia National park. Its also bordered by Inyo wilderness and Golden Trout wilderness. Its 8000 ft elevation with Kerns south fork runs thru it.
When I first heard of this place I attempt to go there with my honda pilot and was not successful. That led me to buy the FJ next year and this whole offroad world opens up. This place is beautiful with temperature down to high 30s and low 40 s at night.
My younger daughter caught her first fish a Golden Trout which is native in that area and it taste good!!!
