Rowher Flats G2G

Well it was a fun outing and the weater couldnt have been nicer, up at 4500 ft it was till 91 but the breeze was nice and it helped eep the dust down.

It was great meeting everyone I cant wait until next time.

BTW, my fiance Kristen had so much fun she is selling her Lexus and buying a Black Cherry FJ.

Re: Rowher Flats G2G

It wasn't 1 mile.........you just put 1 mile on spinning those tires.

Re: Rowher Flats G2G

Looks like you had to work out the steering wheel looking for a place to get those front tires to grab. I think you found the limit to the stockers. Just 2 tries? It could not have been that tough

Yes, it was the limit of the stockers.. any other tire would have walked up it much much easier.. I was impressed though, even with all 3 1/2 tires spinning (ATRAC+locker) it would eventualy find a bit of grip and move forward a couple of inches..rock the fronts back and forth, then spin and spin, grip a bit, rock the tires, spin and spin.. grip.. just when I'd think it was it, it would go an inch.. Took a dang long time but it made it!

Tankota just calculated the climb data using FJ Cruiser math:

Bottom of Hill + A-Trac + Locker = Top of Hill

I have nothing to prove, however, anytime you are ready
I think staying with the nubes, to ensure they got a bit of wheeling in, something a few of them woud not have done without someone experianced, shows more maturity and experiance than your statement.
There are quite a few here, including cruiserlarry, who can fill you in on if you really want to challenge me. and if you do, be prepared to take a few trails where bodydamage will be quarenteed. I do not need her permission, her statement of that was to calm down a Nube who was scared we were going take her down a trail she did not want to go on.
Banter like what me and another experienced wheeler like Tankota can put up to each other, is not ribbing, it is a offhanded compliment between peers. I think if you read my banter close, it complimented him on doing that on stockers, knowing the correct technique to find the traction he needed, and complimented him on only taking 2 tries. I think he saw that in the banter.
