Tampa, FL - Any where to go????

Hello,
I have been looking for places to take my FJ and haven't had any luck. I live in Tampa, FL and was wandering if their is anyone close by that new of some spots. Or what would be my best bet if I wanted to travel a little.
Thanks
Corey

Re: Tampa, FL - Any where to go????

I would suggest joing the Suncoast Flatlanders 4x4 Club, in Tampa.

They are always going out to places and doing things. I am a club member.

Corey, Paul's club up in Hudson are a great bunch of folks. Be cautious around the mudpit if you go up there! I got brazen after about 8 runs through it and went through the center (albeit a little to slowly) and it took 3 different jeeps and finally a Ford monster truck to get me out. I went up there Monday with a friend while out on a business trip and showed him (a jeep & Xterra owner) what the FJ was made of and he was stunned. Look forward to seeing ya out on the road (better yet off road). Karl

Actually the Club is in Tampa, but we have members all over the Tampa Bay Area. Lots of people in Pinellas and lots of people in Hillsborough.

Yeah, lots of people in the club were surprised by the capabilities of the FJC. And you got some major points, from the club, for your paparazzi prep job (your FJC being covered with mud) and I got some ribbing because I usually don't do much mud. But I couldn't let you have all the fun..lol Paul
