THECLIFFS has finally contacted me regarding our outing! We are on for 11 March 07! The park opens at 9:00 but I figure the absolute latest we should all be there is 10:00 am. I will be in their parking lot at 8:30 getting everyone situated. If you're nice, I might even provide the coffee and donuts.
The Cliffs is providing a Trail Guide for us newbies and it's promised that we'd get some great trail rides! If you have prior 4-wheeling experience, you are more than welcome to set off on your own. They have also agreed that if we have over 15 vehicles that they would knock $5 off their daily rate! That's a full day of fun for $17.00. You'll also need to have a flag on your rig. They have them for sale at the park for $13. Please visit their website for their park rules and to download a waiver. You will need the flag and waiver to ride! I will have a few extra waivers on hand if you misplace yours.
Weather might be a factor in our ride so please be aware that it is a possibility our run might be limited. The only way it would be canceled is if there were rains of biblical proportions! Muddy trails are a potential so prepare accordingly! If you have recovery gear bring it!

If anyone is interested, we have been offered food service! Arrangements can be made for bbq type fare if enough folks are interested. Yes it would cost a little more but if enough are interested I can get a price from them.
