Have you ever been there during a 3 day weekend? It's an absolute zoo and can be pretty dangerous. If you're going to camp on the beach you'll need reservations and it might be too late. Sometimes you don't need reservations, but for 3 day weekends it's packed.

There will be miles of RVs parked out there and you'll have to deal with all the idiots.
