Edited. On our spring run I stayed up in Corova 8 miles up the beach and met everyone at the Oregon Inlet. Will you be able to come down to Hatteras for a run?

I will be there all week w/ a couple other families on a previously scheduled trip. If I know more specifically when you are doing something, I think I should be able to slip down for at least one run. Is there going to be an official itinerary or just seat of the pants?

Hey Brian, I liked the map. It is missing a few things. There is a new bridge at Manns Harbor that cuts about 20 min off the trip if you are coming from US 64. The light house is no longer at the location shown in the map. It is still a great map and will give everyone who is not familiar with the area the layout. Good job!

We should be able to answer these questions by the time we're close to the run weekend. We tend to plan things pretty loosely on OBX Runs because we want everybody to have the freedom to enjoy the different stuff they wanna do (finding spots to wheel, family, sightseeing, drinking, fishing etc), and the general mood is "it's 5:00 somewhere". Plus most of us will be there before the weekend and we'll be able to make better plans once we're actually on the ground with Trail Teams, know what beaches are most promising, weather, etc. If you guys will PM me your cell no's I'll be able to call you with updates from OBX. The bonfire will most likely be on the best beach location we can find near Hatteras. The itinerary will be a group decision, but my best guess on it right now is that we'll probably have a group meet and greet / beach familiarization drive with Trail Team Friday afternoon before the bonfire, then meet up for a day of group wheeling / exploring about 10 AM Saturday.
