I am going to try to make it, I really would like to come down, BUT that dear husband of mine has a softball tourney somewhere in VB and all of the VW gang is trying to organize a GTG @ Hunt Club Forest for the haunted hayride. Both of which are on my list of FAAAAAVORITE things to do. <NOT!> Just don't know if it's a good idea for me to ride down alone, so I might try to talk my bro into going . . .
Sorry I haven't been around. I think that there was something going on just about every single weekend over the summer. I did get a 3" Toytech lift, now I just need some new shoes. And I would like to get some steelies for them.
I hope I can make it, more than likely if I DO make it, it will just be for the day. As long as SOME OF YOU are up when you are SUPPOSED TO BE to meet up with folks, everything will be cool. Buncha lushes I tell ya.
I guess I need to go back and find/read the memo to find the itinerary for the weekend.

Well I was going to trailer my FJ40 down, but I got a triple whammy. I broke the rear axle on the 40 at Crozet, drained my bank account while on leave, then my 1st day off of leave my lift pump and injector pump on my truck took a crap. WAY short on funds. I was really looking forward to this too.
Brian, did Yoda get the updated list/contacts
since he leaves in 2 days, while I still have over
a week to wait still... ...

Sounds great to me, and we could decide where we all wanna go from there. Do y'all think we should also plan that anybody that wants to do stuff together on the other days could meet up at the same place at, say 4 PM Friday and 10 AM Sunday?
Here's are maps to the Hatteras Landing meet up place that Mike suggested, for anyone that hasn't been there. Basically you take 12 South almost as far as you can go, and start looking for FJ's gathered in the parking lot on the right when you see signs that you're close to the Ferry. It's a good place to air down, get ice, etc.
