Exclamation NorCal vs SoCal Get Together Location

Shooting for the weekend of April 5/6 of 08 for this event.

NorCal and SoCal FJ Owners meet up...share stories, talk tech, admire each others Rigs, etc.....possibly a Trail Run or two. Looking to get a good number of FJ Owners to come out.

Currently have 3 potential locations:

Option 1:
Oceano Dunes - Pismo Beach

Option 2:
Lake Isabella - Kern, CA

Option 3:
Mammoth Mountain

Re: NorCal vs SoCal Get Together Location

According to the poll Pismo wins by a vote of THREE. There you go. Case closed

Pro: Pismo rocks
Cons: Lake Isabella is not Pismo

Pismo has affordable lodging. Pismo has the beach, dunes, and in land trails. The food is good. Plenty of space for a huge base camp. You can rent ATVs...but why would FJ owners do that? Not far from civilization when needed. Lake Isabella might have these thing but I don't know anything about it

What does Lake Isabella have to offer as far as wheeling goes?

Annie and spertierra were supposed to be hooking us up with the info...all I've got so far is "great trails and tons of camping spots."

If we were gonna go that route, Mammoth would be a better option.
