I'm planning on running a very easy trail, mainly dirt road nice scenic route to Roosevelt lake. I've ran this a couple of times when I had the Sport Trac but never actually mapped it out. Total trail time is about 5 hours. ALL 4x4 vehicles are welcome and encouraged to join us.
Meeting location: Gas station on Highway 87 and Fort McDowell rd.
Meeting time: 0900
Departure time will be 9:45AM
Communication will be on channel 4 for those who have cb radios.
if i was still in AZ i would definitly join. that is a great ride. depending on what way you are going, you should do lunch at tortilla flats. are you running the whole apache trail?

Its actually a different trail, here's an estimated map of where the trail is.
You should post this in the azfj thread on this site...you might get a greater response!
I'll have to think about this one...if it's easy I may go, I'll probably be riding solo that weekend.
it is a dirt road. thats it. no rocks, no iffy spots. no need for a spotter. you only have to get out too look at the gorgeous summer scenery.
the pics of my FJ are on a trail off to the side, disregard those. it is strictly a dirt road, very fun rally car status at times when nobody is around.
