Last time I did the trail in the rain it turned out to be much nicer than when it was dry. More of a challenge.

Mysellf, Stuart (DrunkStu80), and another Rover guy will be camping on the Perkins Mill Rd end (southern side I believe). We'll be camping Friday and Saturday night. We'll have at least one CB in the group on CH 3 and FRS on CH 3 as well. We plan on camping just off the trail, so it will be hard to miss us. That is, of cousre, if the campsite we're thinking of is free.
I guess we'll take off between 9 and 10 AM or so if we don't see anyone and start heading towards the Crabtree Falls parking lot, but then again, too much planning and things can become "unfun". Anyways, that's what we'll be doing.
Stuart, don't let the weather forecast bum you out. It will be part of the adventure. No rain checks alllowed. A rainy day just means more time around the campfire drinking barley pops.
