noaa this morning is looking more bleak for those camping:

Friday: A slight chance of snow before noon, then a chance of rain. Cloudy, with a high near 44. Breezy, with a south wind 8 to 11 mph increasing to between 18 and 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Friday Night: Periods of snow showers. Low around 24. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 42.
Fosterchild,

I'm having trouble imagining a tenth of an inch. Maybe you have an apendage that I can use to reference.

Good luck hunting for that appendage. Hope to see you up there on Saturday morning. How many trucks are in your group? Right now I have three (maybe four) trucks.

For everyone staying Saturday evening, the larger capsite near the Perkins Mill road entrance is big enough to have a bunch of FJs, and have some sort of FJ group campfire sing-a-long (FJ talk session). Cow bell will be provided, for those of you need more of it.

Re: Shoe Creek, Va Near March 1, 2008

I figured out how much precipitation we'll be getting this weekend...

0.1 inch = 1.57828283 × 10-6 miles

Too many sig figs

Shouldn't it be
1.6 × 10-6 miles depending on you rounding rules epa would calc 1.5 × 10-6 miles

Re: Shoe Creek, Va Near March 1, 2008

I plan on being at the BP station @9am Saturday morning.

But I am going to be sleeping in a warm, dry, bed, in a house!

Do we have a total on how many to expect?
