Trying to see if anyone is willing to hit Shoe Creek on march 1, 2008.... i got a handfull of guys around here that would go. I dont want to limit it to toyotas so if anyone would like to bring something else, they could. pm me or post on here so we can get something together.

I am not sure if this is what the original poster was refering to but there is a dirt road that goes up to Crabtree falls, after you pass the falls parking area the trail continues along shoe creek. It does become a pretty fun trail. It's not real long and it easily doable in a stock fj. With a few bypasses for fun.
akoda was dead on! we usually come in from the other end and stop at crabtree falls to have a cookout before the scenic ride back the "easy side" of the mountain.

last time I made the trail side run downhill. I would want to go both ways this time. It is a tight trail and I wouldn't recommend a long line of fj's maybe stagger with 4 or 5 in a group.
My ass may even camp. there are some nice campsites along the trail.
