Hey Apex, do you have an official itinerary for this run? The reason I ask is because this is on MLK weekend giving me Monday off work too. Are you heading back Sunday morning or evening or Monday? Thanks-

This is what I have in mind so far:
Friday 18 Jan-
7:00pm-??? Pre-run Meet and Greet at
McGuire's Irish Pub
Saturday 19 Jan-
10:00am Rendezvous at the meeting spot at
N30 33'26.95" W086 55'09.92" Air down and hit the trails by 10:30.
Lunch will be on the trail at one of numerous spots suitable for this many vehicles.
4:30PM Set camp on the beach at East Bay in time for
Sunset. Camp fire, smores, shrimp-boil for MissMy60 (Bay Shrimp) , yada yada yada...
7:00pm 'ish Night run through to return non-campers to civilization and their toasty warm staterooms

This time will be flexible, of course.
Sunday 20 Jan-
9:00am Break camp and start back toward Rendezvous spot.
10:00am Rendezvous at the meeting spot and re-hit the trails by 10:30. Again, lunch will be on the trail at one of numerous spots suitable for this many vehicles.
4:00pm 'ish Find our way back to civilization and say our Farewells. Perhaps ribs at East River Smokehouse (1968 Highway 87 S. 850-939-2802)
Monday 21 Jan-
????-???? I will probably not be up for much off-roading action on this day but would be glad to meet some folks for a trip through some local points of interest such as the Museum of Naval Aviation, Fort Barrancas, Santa Rosa Island (read, "the beach"), etc. I know some folks had expressed an interest in a trip to Destin.
This is just a rough outline, we have a bit of flexibility, and we all know the best laid plans last only thirty seconds under fire. SOOoooo...

I just sent in my request for a Rec Pass for myself and my wife. Not sure if I'll get them before this one. Keeping my fingers crossed.

They should have you fixed up by then. Shall I add you to the list of attendees?
