Man, did we have a good time! Great pics, Invisible J. There are a metric ton more pics to come as people get back home to their computers. I'll be posting some soon.
We had three vehicles needing recovery. The first was towing a camper trailor up a loooong sand slope and was snatched out by yours truely.
Then there was that nasty bit of business out on the river that used to be a trail last night. Picture this: air temp close to 32, close to 9pm, and there I am in my shorts and t-shirt with no shoes on wading out into this huge deep puddle to hook a strap and shackle up to the front recovery point! I had to do a little searching under there to find it, too. Yes I spent a good amount of time huddling next to the fire when we got back to the camping spot. (You owe me beer, and you know who you are!

)
Lastly there was a nice wash out we were trucking up this afternoon and missmy60 got hung up on a birm while listing heavily to starboard. I gave Duc Hunter a chance to be the hero this time and he pulled him out with the winch from that beautiful 4Runner of his.
More details to come...
But I just wanted to say thanks to all the fine folks who traveled from near and far to see our little slice of heaven down here. See you all again at another event, hopefully soon.
