You'd be smiling, too, if you had heated seats this day!
(Hey, Duc, I don't think your dogs like me taking their picture...)
This is a series of pics from the frame twister that leads out of the above pit...

A little closer...
A nice group shot.
From left to right, Boss Hoss, Bamacruiser, and Invisible J chatting it up while we snap pictures of the rig line.
Then we had lunch by the Weaver River.

By the way, as soon as I got back to the house I Saturday night I ordered an A-TRAC button and all of the stuff to move all of the breathers up higher, lol.
Right as we were about to hit all of that water on the stretch of trail headed to the beach, Karen looked at the nav and said, "huh, it says we're in the ocean". At first I was angry that my nav system was messed up, but I soon realized that it was probably right after all
AB, luckily I live close by - you'll actually get to collect on that beer(s) I owe you, lol. I cleaned out the truck while you guys were out playing Sunday, it looks like I had about six inches of water inside the cab - more than I had originally thought. Looks like it's time to rethink putting the XM tuner and amplifier under the seats (they both still work, even though the were fully submerged)

Jeez, I wish I had found that danged recovery point faster, man. I'm glad everything is still working well. Well get together sometime soon. It was nice to know there was another life support type around for this ride.

I have absolutely NO pictures of our swim out to East Bay. I can tell you that we spent more time fording water than we did on dry land, it was insane!
The evening on the beach was awesome. The promised sunset never happened due to overcast skies, but the fire, food and company were good well into the night. Let me tell you this, that Bamacruiser fella is one gumbo cookin' fool! Amazing, and perfect for the cold weather. A tough act to follow, but the shrimp boil followed right on the heals of the gumbo. I also saw some weenies (can I say that? ) roasting and spaghetti.
We got all the folks who weren't staying the night on the beach back out through the same insanity that we went through to get out there. Only one hiccup along the way. Thank God.
Overnight temps reached 24 degrees. Welcome to sunny Florida!
We gathered the next morning for day Two.
Nice view in the mirror...
The field were the A4 sits had become a nice lake.
