Anza Borrego Saturday 12/1

Hey all,

This is gonna be my last trail run for the year and am looking forward to getting back in the dirt.

I plan to do Ocotillo Wells:

Blow Sand Hill
Pumkin Patch
Split Mountain
Can't remember what else I want to hit.

I plan to be out there all day starting out from Oceanside at 7:00am
If you'd like to meet up somewhere pm me, otherwise if you see me out there just try and catch me ha ha!! I'm gonna be couped up for a while so I gotta get my fill of adrenalin while I can. I'll be in a BD with an ARB full rack on top, and lifted.

Happy Holidays,

Ryan

Wish I could go, but we have the All Pro open house this weekend. I'll be heading that way in a couple weeks though - have fun!

Hmmm.....Rancho Bernardo is on your way. I'm supposed to do something productive tomorrow but it can wait. I mean, it's not going anywhere and it's all wet outside now anyway.
Hmmmm......it would be the first trip out in my new FJ.

Aaahhhh! I can't say no! I'm weak!

Re: Anza Borrego Saturday 12/1

It sounds like you know your way around AB...I went for the first time last Sat. & had a ball. It was my first 4x4 run as well. I wanted to wait until I could go with someone more experienced but couldn't wait any longer. It was ThanksGiving weekend & pretty crowded too. We started in AB State Park & ended up in Ocotillo Wells. We came in on Pumkin Patch & took Crossover trail and I got a little spooked when I came to the ridge in the middle. No one was around & the crossing looked to me to be little more than a moto-x trail! Finally a couple of wranglers came by & went up, then a old Bronco & Jeep Grand Cherokee went so I thought I'd be OK...and was. Then on a wide open wash I intentionally put the FJ in a skid & the VSC kicked in & straightened me out before I could even react...Weird feeling not being in control, but better controlled...

I would go tomorrow but I gotta go to AllPros open house & pick up my sliders & Bandi mount...and I am taking my Visa card!

Muddygrrl...Save a run for me! Did you clean out your in box yet Miss Popular?
