Re: East Coast 4Runner Jamboree 2008

It was great having y'all out there! It's always a good time seeing old faces and meeting new wheelers.

Now, the question is....who made it into the magazine?!?

We won't know for another couple months.

Re: East Coast 4Runner Jamboree 2008

My son and I had a great time this year. Although we didn't get a chance to see Ace light a fart on fire this year, the wheeling was great. We got to meet some new people and try some new trails. We learned how to replace a birfield in the field, that blues are sometimes harder than they look and that noticing the sign for "the smoothie" just as you are entering 28" of muddy soup is bad timing. After several years of wheeling with my FJC I now have a crinkle in my sheet metal that I have to explain to my wife. But hey, that's what wheeling is all about. I'm sure it will just buff out.

A few Pics

Of course when it's time to do some heavy lifting it's important to employ the power of SpongeBob.

And last but not least you can see my son pointing to the level of the muddy soup in "the smoothie."

Re: East Coast 4Runner Jamboree 2008

We had a blast! This was the first time out with the FJ and I've gotta say I was very impressed. This was also my 4 yr old's first trip and let's just say he wasn't very happy we were not wheelin on Sunday. He had a great time and everyone was so great towards him, Thank you (especially you Amy, he really took a liking to you). And to that same topic, it was really nice to see everyone from years past and meeting new people this year. This group is always friendly and helpful towards each other. It is always a pleasure!

I left my memory card at work, but I will post some pics when I get it home.

Tom and Amy... you guys are great! Adam and I are still laughing at the stories. Hope to see you guys again soon.

To Ace and anyone else who helped organize, great job, thank you!

-Zach
