The Arch is optional and there is certainly a bypass. Anyone doing the Arch would do it while the others watched because to contiue on you actually have to drive past the entrance again anyway.
The boulder we will not even go near. That route shouldn't have even been taken. We had 25 rigs with us on that run (23 jeeps, 1 Taco, and my FJ) and we all got split up. I was following th lead man (my friend Ron) and to the regroup area and he made a left when he should have went straight. For the most part, there are usually easier ways around.

That it is my friend... I can honestly say this... The adrenaline starts to pumping anytime I go offroading. However, NO PLACE has ever affected me like Truckhaven. "Hells Gate" on "Hells Revenge" didn't phase me like Truckhaven does. Once you drop in it's like a maze. Even if you have a track to follow you can get lost really easy. You never know what's over the next hill. When you are with a group it gets even more interesting because you start to worry whether or not you can get the group turned around if you come to a dead end. All the obstacles out there are climbs and decents mostly on dirt. I LOVE IT!!!
