Re: Tour of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) With LandCruiserSteve

Great write-up, story and pics, Mike!! It almost makes me feel like I was right there with you. Hey, wait a minute . . . . I was there!!

Pam and I had a great time as well during your visit. Thank you so much for stopping through on your way to FL.

BTW, tell Anita that I'm sorry about making her turn a little green during the skid demo.

And, thank you for letting me be the first drive the RAPTOR!! That in itself was a treat!!

Very nice trip. I would looking into getting heavier springs from DR to compensate for all the weight and not just crank it in.

Springs are fine, I had my suspension dialed in very little. Once I added the extra weight I just needed to dial it up a little more. I still have more room on the coil overs to dial it up even more. DR says a max of three inches from the top of the shock to the dial ring. I have it set at two inches so there is still more room if I need it.

Good to now.

So did Steve let you take the raptor on the off road course?

I spent three months there as a student (CITP + Marshals school) back in the early 80's. Yep, big difference being on the "other side of the fence" (student vs. faculty).
