Hollister Hill 11 June

As I posted on Frank Raines thread, lets do Hollister on 11 June. There will be some Land Cruisers (probably) and 4R. It has anything from mild to wild so everyone can have fun. And oh yeah maps are availible and trails are pretty well marked.

That's a pretty long drive. If I go (75% chance) I will be camping on Sat night. Thanks for the invite!

Re: Hollister Hill 11 June

If you guys can make it just post your name here and how many folks. This way we can plan a little BBQ (nothign fancy just hotdogs or something) I don't want to eat hotdogs for a month aftwerwards or go hungry. We can plan later on who can bring what.

Re: Hollister Hill 11 June

Ok guys who will make this run?
It will have from mild to some more interesting stuff. We will probably have a good spread of 4R and LCs, so far no FJCs have confirmed It has been scientifically proven FJCs can wheel with other Toyotas and viceversa, so come join the fun

Meet at Ranger station at 9:30am and then heading out to Obstacle course. Please post if you are going to come and how many people. I'm geeting some hotdogs for a simple BBQ later in the day.

On Saturday afternoon we will install one guys OME on his 4R (same suspension setup as FJC) at my house in Morgan Hill. PM me if you want to join the wrenching.

Updated details are here in the first post

I am at 75%, but I won't be eating any hot dogs. I went to Hollister Hills last weekend, and I had a blast. I would love to go with a group to help me gague whether I can make it up the hill climb there.

I need to camp on Sat. There's no way my butt is getting out of bed at 6 am to drive all day. That's all that is holding me back

Oh you dont trust my cooking hey Nothing special just soemthing social anyhow.

Which climb are you referring too? Truck hill, 5 fingers or some of the others?? There are a few tricky spots out there, if you know how to find them. Nice thing is the ocndition changes on some of the climbs so they can be very easy one day and when you go back later they can be very challenging.

Yeah I don't know if I like the camping at Hollister, but I live so close I don't need to.

If you want you can crash at my place (and help with the OME install ) I'll just have to check with my GF on that one (she runs the house). Some of the guys will actually be staying at motels in the area coming up from LA, seemingly not liking my place

Or best yet, dont stop partying on Saturday and then drive through, no need to get up early.
