Trail team is going to be there with 3 fj's,goodies and a inflatable 16x20 tv screen.

Is anyone going this weekend? I plan on being there late friday night.Hope to see some other FJ's there other than mine and the trail teams.

I'm hoping to make it up there... don't currently know if I'll be there for the whole weekend or just saturday (the latter is more likley)... not sure where I'm sleeping at the moment, but the early sign-up time ( I missed pre-registration) likley means I'll be showin up friday pm.

Hey sparky,talked to the off-road park and there camp site is primitive and on a first come basis.He also said there should be no proplem getting a spot they just won't be the best spots. see ya there

I am considering getting there friday also, instead of leaveing my house at 3-3:30 am Sat...

What did you set up are far as registering... ???

I missed the cut-off for the Keystone pre-reg. by 2 days when i first saw it... So I have nothing set up... other than I have my FJC and am ready to role on out there...

Any info you can pass on would be AWSOME...

... might just have to break out the camping gear. Primitive is cool. Primitive with no body in view is cooler. Primitive with a 5 hour commute from the trail head is cooler. Primitive with a 5 hour commute, and Bears beats all.

bandi, you bringing both trucks? or just the yeller one?

I did not pre-register as i 2 missed the cut off date.I hope to be camping there or i'll just sleep in it, the fj that is. I plan on leaving here friday no later than 6pm or sooner if my daughter does not have to work. I would like to be there by dark. I 2 don't want to get up early satuday. All i know is i have my fj a tent and i'm ready to roll. Can either of you sugest a hand held cb for 150$ or less.

I've been toying with the idea of picking up something similar to :
Midland 75-822 Handheld CB Radio with Vehicle Adapter, coupled with a glass mount-whip antenna.

amazon's got both for $100. with 24 hour delivery available.

downside, wattage, short antenna, and no GC (gain control).
upside : cheap, plug into your car, battery pack avail for on-trail use.

alternatives: Cobra HH Road Trip Hand Held CB Radio. and others
