Mrs Rat and I have decided to skip Ouray this year. We have too many trips planned and not enough of us to go around. We thought Maui sounded like more fun for our 10th anniversery this year. However:
Last year we hosted some friends in an "after Ouray" Moab gathering. We'd like to do the same this year. We had lot's of fun and 10 or 12 rigs join us in 2007.
So.... I'll start by inviting one and all to join us the week after the summit in Moab for a couple of days of fun on the slickrock. I've started a thread over on FJCC as well as a lot of folks hang out there now too, including some beloved names from the past. Anyhow, any thoughts or ideas on dates and trails are welcome, and I hope you all can join us!
Worth considering . . . I'd like to hit it either before or after Ouray. Since I'll be out that way, I may as well hit as many trails as possible before they get shut down

I should end up in Moab sooner or latter the week after the summit I am guessing Wednesday so try and save running Poison Spider Mesa, Golden Spike and Gold Bar Rim till the end of the week for me.
Looking forward to wheeling with you and Mrs. Rat again.

If you are at the summit and leave for Moab right after you will be in Moab on Sunday and stay as long as you like. I will be getting in on Wednesday and staying through Friday probably.

I sure hope we get a consensus on dates. I'm fine with Weds through the weekend, but maybe other folks will be getting in earlier. I think I've got to wait and see when the most friends will be there so we can ride with you all. We aren't going to go to the Summit this year and I can't really take the whole week off. Let's all throw some dates out there so the Rats can figure out when to book a room
