Which side are you on? I'm on the South Corona side and it gets snow up there at least once a year now. Except for last year. One year we got it with in 200-300 foot elevation of our house that was the lowest I have ever seen it. It melted as soon as the sun came out but it was pretty cool. I think our house sits around 1200-1300 elevation so that was pretty low fo us.

I am on the "OC" side. If I cannot get over to Mount Baldy to snowshoe for fun I'll try to drive up Maple Springs T-T from Silverado Canyon.

Must have been really pretty to see the snow so close to your house!

I wish I had time to get to big bear this last weekend. That would have been fun!

Hellus, you didnt need chains in that??? Tried to hit up Frazier this weekend and it didn't look anywhere as crazy as that did, but the CHP said we needed chains.

When I pulled up to the CHP they just looked at my tires and without me even saying anything just said "drive safely" and waved me on past the checkpoint going up and going down on Sunday when it was still snowing.
