Any intrest in a South San Diego run on sunday?

Heres the plan, Bear valley road and Los Pinos trail. should be a easy to moderate run with lots of scenic views. Any stock 4x4 should be good to go. Figure Meet 9 AM at the mission valley mall off the 8. we will meet in the parking lot by outback steakhose.

Re: Any intrest in a South San Diego run on sunday?

the trails are down near the border, east of otay. take the 8 east to S1 south. this will bring us to Bear valley road. it's about an hour long crossing 3 different peaks then it ends back on buckman springs (S1) we will drive about 6 miles west to the Los Pinos Loop. about 3 hours long. Higest point will be 4900 feet. should be fun and picturesqe,
the ratings from 1 to 10
difficulty are BV 3, LP 5
and scenic rating BV 8, LP 9

I was almost down. I'm busy that morning. Go run Pancake rock or something. Most of all, take pictures and post up a trail report. Have fun.

Re: Any intrest in a South San Diego run on sunday?

I am in 90%. I will probably have my twins with me. I need to get out there and test out the Mod I am doing Saturday at Kal's crib .... Painting my Bezel white. I hope it enhances my performance and increases my uptravel on my rear end. :-)

I am down for a scenic ride that isn't to white-knuckly.

Thong? Kal? Any other San Diegans feel like playing?

Kewl I'll be there saturday also doing my mirrors and doorhandles with my little girl too. Mind if I use some of your white? I'm doing the rest black but I want a white bezel.

Re: Any intrest in a South San Diego run on sunday?

No problem. In fact I have a fresh can of the textured black Rustoleum for your mirrors too. I bought a ton of it at home depot and did not use all my cans. Oh ... but I will be a little late getting there on Saturday because my girls have ballet until 11:15 ... so ... maybe I will be there by the time you are masked up and ready to paint.
