Mike, look under trail reports (rubicon pics).I posted pics of our trip to the rubicon last week.Like everyone said there is a chance ob body damage but IM sure the trails teams will take care of you.Body armor will be your best friend.

Don't forget to bring a little favorite something to drink for the Friday night "Marauder" Bar. It's a great social hour. So good, it was moved to Friday night to allow the hangovers to heal on Saturday.

Don't forget the requirement for each vehicle to bring a human waste system (PETT). If you don't have one, there are a number of suppliers, just google PETT.

Bring warm clothes. It snowed this past weekend. It'll be wet in spots.

We camped last week up at Eagle Lakes (Truckee). It was COLD with a constant drizzle. Hope that weather breaks before the run!

Any idea how many FJ's are signed up?

Last I heard there were 10. I'm bringing my FJ40, and will be on the Double Locker run... we should pass your run by mid afternoon.

I got my PETT system from Jacque at Toyota of Dallas, they were running a special with free shipping...

Hopefully, I'm in the FJC run. I haven't got my registration back yet. Tony did email me and said it is on the way. I'll just feel better when I actually see it.

Re: Rubithon 2008 | June 18th-22nd, 2008

I've just exchanged PM's with Tony regarding confirmation as well. As CA Annie said, the thread in ih8mud states the FJC run is full. Now that I've got my rear bumper taken care of, I'm pretty much ready to go. I was hoping to be able to re-gear with 4.56's before but it doesn't look like the gears will come in time. Oh well.

Now in pre-packing stage, setting everything out to make sure it fits w/o being over stuffed. Let the fun begin...
