Get there by 2 PM and you can run with us on the Double Locker run
Cool! We should be there before 2pm. We probably won't leave SJ until about 9am which would put me at Loon right around 1pm. I'm going to to drop the tow rig and trailer at Robb's then head straight for the trail. We are going on a leisurely pace, so we'll get there when we get there.
The Saturday food is packed and iced down -- Heading to Tahoe Sunday at 4 PM. Loading the 40 onto a trailer, and will be hitting the trail Monday morning.
Lot's and lot's of good raffle prizes -- bring cash, this will be one of the best in years.
Take your time, choose your lines, and follow your spotter's advice. Don't forget to bring sandals or water shoes for the "relax" time in the Springs.
See you all up there.

Spent the last two days prepping the FJC and it's as ready as it can be at this point. Going to start the packing tomorrow and shopping on Tuesday. I will load the FJC on the trailer on Tuesday night. I'll pickup Jason from the airport Wed morning then we'll swing back by the house and hop in the tow rig and be on our way. Hopefully, Jason doesn't need 15 pee breaks on the way to the trail.
Just checked into the "Mother Lode Inn" in wonderful Placerville CA. Amazingly, we made it across the country as planned if not better. We had enough time to come in the "long way", around the lake, stopping in Camp Richardson for some ice cream.
Saw a handful of FJ40's on trailers heading over hwy 50 as I was coming down. I can only assume it was Wooody and others who need to be on the trail early. I'll be dropping mine off at Inchworm in the morning for a couple mods to the "drivetrain".
Pretty excited and happy to be back in CA where I grew up. Tahoe was as magnificent as always, can't wait to hit the trail on Wed...
Welcome to CA, again. Very cool! Glad you had an uneventful drive. I bet the weather is beautiful around the lake this weekend. BTW, happy fathers day....

I think we're finally about done, too. Did the scuba mods yesterday, removed the winglets and patched them up (that's taken a few weekends); oil change, new fluids, new tires, new front bumper, freshly washed ... This has to be the best the Tick has ever looked!
I'm looking at this GIANT pile of gear, thinking how in the hell are we going to get all of that in the truck? Freakin A! Tuesday will be one big Tetris game
