Welcome to CA, again. Very cool! Glad you had an uneventful drive. I bet the weather is beautiful around the lake this weekend. BTW, happy fathers day....
Thanks, the girls took me out to Tortilla Flats in Placerville, not bad...

I'm looking at this GIANT pile of gear, thinking how in the hell are we going to get all of that in the truck? Freakin A! Tuesday will be one big Tetris game

See ya soon!
That was exactly what my girls said as I got things packed up. "No wonder dad is so good at Tetris"...

All packed up and ready to head out in the morning!!

Meeting a bunch of Rising Sun Land Cruisers in the AM in Idaho Springs and then we are all headed west.

Jerry, good luck with the mods..I am picking up Brian Tuesday afternoon, see you sometime later afternoon, early evening.

This is going to be great, can't wait for Wednesday, travel safe all and see you there.

They will have a room available here for Tuesday night if you want to get one last night in a bed before hitting the trail. Barry has my mobile number, you guys can just give me a buzz when you get close. Have a safe drive out and see you in a few...

Yeah you saw how I roll.. Stuff comming out of the cracks.. It is hard to pack up your house and take it with you, now you feel my pain ...

Since its only me going (not the family) I am traveling so light its crazy.. Sometimes its good to be the passenger.. I had to have to wife look at my food list cuz I did not think I was bringing enough!! Looking forward to this and I can't to see my fellow FJC out on the trail....

Tony, you are my inspiration! After seeing how much you were able to pack in, I feel pretty good that we'll make it. Cant wait to show you, you'll be so proud!

I think there will only be 8. Mark (mir207) dropped out due to mechanical problems with his FJC and I will be running late. I hope to be at the trailhead by 1pm.

If anyone is still around... Watch out for wolves in sheeps clothing. And bring water balloons!

Everything is packed and the FJC is on the trailer. I'll swing by the airport and pickup Jason at 8am tomorrow, then we'll be on our way. We should be at Robb's around 1PM. We'll drop the truck and trailer and head for the trail.
