I'm glad that Sol is running with us also, it should be a cool contrast from one extreme to the other.
I've not seen my confirmation yet. I'm assuming that many of the Rubithon leadership was in Moab, that they will be filtering through all the registration forms/check/emails upon their return...
You assume correctly. Tony (Rubithon Chair) and virtually all of his committe leads were out at Moab. I would expect to see something sometime next week at the latest.

Yeah, kind of stupid but that is the beauty of the FJC. I'm lucky enough to have June and July off and I want to share the experience with my 2 daughters before the grow up enough to stop wanting to hang out with their dad.
It will be a month long journey from NC to Rubithon to Moab to FJCSummit then back to NC. Should be a great month...
I'm very lucky that I work for a private school and get June and July off as well as having a wife who works very hard and is paid well enough for me to have such a slacker job. I'm hoping be able to visit your shop on my travels through CA is I head to Phoenix to visit family...

It depends on how well the driver listens to the spotter, and how patient the driver is. 50-50
The Trail Teams have run the trail several times, and done it without body damage. If you are on the FJ run, I would think a patient, careful driver could make it through without damage.
There have been guys that run it, and destroyed their FJs, and there have been guys that run it, and get lazy, and take a coouple of dings... But dings are like tattoos, but only with better stories
Rubicon is a trail that requires your full attention. Loose concentration for a minute, and you can take some damage.
