This can not come soon enough. We will be leaving mtk NY around 5 on wed. Its about a 5 hour drive with out stops. I think wed night we will be staying at a local motel. Was wondering what time do we start getting together on thur morning. I want to be all set up and ready to wheel so don't wanna get there to late. I saw some one else ask if there is a schedule somewhere. I would like to see what time things start around also. The last thing is I have heard people saying they have recieved confirmation for the event. The only confirmation I have seen is my check being deposited.
Thanks
Richie
No real schedule has been posted anywhere, but everyone will be anxious to get out on the trail Thurs morning. Since registration packets will only be distributed after checking in at the Echo Valley Campground office for all people, whether you stay there or not, I would suggest checking in there some time Weds afternoon/eve to avoid the Thurs morning rush.
People will have to check in at Rausch Creek also to register if they need to and to get their stickers showing that they checked in. Only have to do this the first day you show up, so Thurs morning will have a big line. I'll be there before 8 Thursday, I hate lines. The office opens at 8.
I don't know about the confirmations, I didn't get one yet either. But if you don't hear by Mon, you might want to shoot an email to the treasurer @gclcny.com.

so i should stop by echo valley on Wednesday night to get the registrations packets?? im staying at the comfort inn
It is my understanding that everyone, regardless of where they are staying, needs to check in at Echo Valley to be able to get a registration packet. I suggested Weds eve because I'm sure Thurs morning people will rather be wheeling.

Still toying with idea of showing up for Saturday only. "Ordoman" you stated that I should bring completed paperwork, application, & waivers. Where do I get this paperwork? I'll also have my 12 yo son with me. Is there paperwork for him as well? As far as the campground part I'm sure one of you guy's can slip me in as a guest, right? Then again I work in sales I should be able to talk my way into anything. Or I could stamp my feet & cry alot untill they give in & let me go, ha,ha,ha,.....BTW- A ballpark price for the one day? I guess I could just swipe my VISA, I guess?? Well see what happens...

I know it's a GCLC trail run rule that you have a fire extinguisher on board. You can pick one up at the local Walmart or K-mart for under $30.00. If you were coming down just for one day you would probably want to just register at the Rausch front office. The registration fee for the weekend for the CMCC is $135 plus dinner Sat night. Here is a copy/paste from Rausch Creek:
Rausch Creek Off Road Park is a membership-based facility. There are no pre-requisites or waiting lists. All drivers and passengers must sign a membership application & liability waiver. Drivers and passengers age 16 and up are required to become members of the park which costs $10 per year and is good for one year from the date you join. Membership cards are given out when you join.
Children age 15 and younger are free, however, we require a parental waiver. All members under the age of 18 also require a parental waiver.
The daily entrance fee is $30.00 for the vehicle and driver. Passengers age 16 and up are $5.00 each (When a passenger joins the park, the $5.00 fee is waived that day). We offer free primitive camping for our members.
To speed up your registration and sign-in, please download the documents, fill them out, and bring them with you when you visit our facility. You'll get to go wheeln' sooner! The form requires the following info from BOTH DRIVERS AND PASSENGERS: Name, address, phone number, emergency contact info, driver's license number, vehicle description and license plate. Also, initial (do not check) the four individual waiver paragraphs. We need this information from passengers too.
Go to Rausch Creek ORP website Rausch Creek Off Road Park
and to Gotham City Land Cruisers Website Gotham City Land Cruisers
All the downloadable waivers for the event are at the GCLC site. Hope this helps and hope to see you there!

Pete covered the paperwork part. As far as the campground goes, If you're not registered with CMCC, the worst case is you have to pay a visitor fee at the campground office. I think it's like $10 or $15.

Hey Rich is there going to be a shakedown(inspection) each day or get a pre-run inspection once and you're good?

Re: Coal Mine Cruiser Classic - July 10-12 - Rausch Creek, PA
Thanks guy's, The $135 is for the 3 day CMCC Event- stickers,t-shirt & that kind of stuff, correct? If I was to show up Saturday morning & just wheel & tag along with the other FJ people from the CMCC event( I guess I would be able to do this),I would need $10 for RC membership
for the year +$30 for the daily entrance to the park + the $10 or $15 for the campground
entrance. So basicly I'd be looking at $40 or $50 right? Would I be able to go out on the trails in one of the event groups? Sorry to be such a pain in the butt, But I've never been to one of these Meet's before & not sure how it all works. I'll be sure to be up to speed for the next event.
