This season, BeaveRun will offer several Dirt days and a few special Dirt weekends. March 15-16 is our lead off weekend for the 2008 season. This will not be any one maker event. There will be a variety of vehicles from Jeep, Suzuki, LandRover, Nissan, Hummer/GM, and of course Toyota! All vehicle types and makes are welcome! It's open to the general public and you don't have to be a current club member to attend.
(if you have any questions, ask away!)
General Guidelines & Rules for BeaveRun Dirt Days
RSVP is requested for Dirt Days - If you’re running late call us for additional help or directions!
Be On Time - Please allow time for travel and respect the time the ride is to start.
When riding on a trail, do not let the person behind you out of site. If you lose sight of them, STOP!
Bring food & non-alcoholic beverages. THERE WILL BE NO ALCOHOL ON ANY TRAIL!! Feel free to bring your own food and please pick up any trash that you may see on the trails.
TREAD LIGHTLY AND STAY ON THE TRAILS!! You will be asked to leave and not return if you deviate from the trail because you’re bored, etc.
Listen to your guides! They have been here before and are here to help you.
Children & Pets need to be safe! This means they must be monitored by their parent/guardian at all times!!
Closely monitor your pet. Make sure your pet is strapped in securely. They can get hurt from bouncing around just as easily as humans can.
Ask for help! It's ok to ask for help or a spotter to get over an obstacle; same goes for a strap. Getting stuck is part of the sport and working as a team to help others is why we are here.
No moving obstacles or Modifying the trails! We have specific paths and obstacles in / on the trails at BeaveRun. Some people have a habit of making the trail work for them instead of employing a recovery system or driving technique to get them through an obstacle. Most importantly- the next guy in line may be able to do the obstacle!
Groups
If you would like to be in a specific group, please let me know via email, pm or tele!(724-535-1000)
Easy - would be the "get your tires dirty", mild challenges, intro to off-road
Medium - would be the majority of our trails and challenge spots
Hard - (some tight/specialty sections) would be equivalent to black level trails at other parks and areas
Vehicle Requirements
Tow points front and rear
Recovery strap preferred or chain
General safety/inspection requirement. (no leaky fluid/ bad tires, etc.)
At the time, we are working with a few vendors about coming out and there should be a few tech sessions going on at designated times. (If you are interested in vendor opportunity's, send a PM) Trail rides will be at 3 or 4 hour intervals over the weekend. So, plenty of time to explore the course and challenge areas.
Thoughts & Comments are most welcome! Please keep in mind that BeaveRun's off-road side of things is constantly changing with the development of future track construction and expansion. So, if you see something you don't like, make a suggestion. Don't see enough of what you do like? Tell me. You'd be surprised at what a little feedback can get you.
How new guy friendly is this? I've never gone off-roading, but want to get into it. Will a dummy like me be able to get some learning time in?

Our Off-Road trails are novice to intermediate. There are challenge spots along the way (moderate to difficult) and several choices around the obstacle if need be.
You will certainly be able to get some learning time in. I am a professional motorsports instructor and I will have a full staff of qualified trail leaders to also assist the group.
Ok, so it will cost 35 bucks for the day then. Im a little slow........Just making sure i dont need to pitch in for insurance or something. But i would like to go.
Our insurance* is covering the event. Everything is inclusive @ $35/day or $55 for the 2 day weekend event.
*(liability coverage and participant accident coverage- This DOES NOT cover your vehicle)

You will have fun. You will learn.
Awesome, I'm in. This is why I bought the FJ. Time to get dirty with her.
