I am interested. I am an early riser and like to get an early start. This gives me more time to drink beer and wash the mud off the beast.
I was up there on 2/2 and we saw a spot pretty early on the run that had suffered a lot of errosion and was leading some folks to take a pretty difficult by-pass to get around. I am not sure, but I doubt it has gotten any better with the rain since then.
We got shut down on 2/2 due to deep snow that had turned to ice very close to the top and had to turn back pretty late in the afternoon.
final plans...Sunday March 2nd meet at the Bass Pro Shop near victoria gardens, near the main enterence, off of the 15fwy at 6am. we will drive out at 6:30. bring food to cook for breakfast if you want. sorry, its no longer a sunrise run but its still freakin early.

so who's goin with us? we should be able to bypass most of the bad stuff, if you dont want to bypass it then be my guest to give it a try. Ive been told this should no longer be called a "beginer" trail due to the recent changes in trail conditions. on a normal day my open diff 4x2 can make it up most of the "harder stuff" (not 4x4 hard, 4x2 hard) with no problems. I suspect that if snow and mud are present I wont even try the hard stuff.

we're still on for early sunday morning. zoshyii got his fj back from demello and its all set up and ready to go; first time out after the mojave wreck. we took it out tonight and man thouse icon shocks feel nice. this thing flys over everything that a normal fj would scrape the front bumper on. just charge over it now...prerunner!
