I mean brunch as in a place where I sit down, someone hands me a menu or points me in the direction of the buffet, and I proceed to eat enough to hold me til dinner. THAT'S what I'm looking for, Steve-O!

M

Hmmm.... good eats for breakfast on the way to Main Divide....hmmmmm

Might I suggest Bravo Burger on Ortega near the 5?

Bravo Burgers
31722 Rancho Viejo Rd
San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675

Take the 5 to Ortega Hwy and head East.
Turn RIGHT on Rancho Viejo and the parking lot will be on the LEFT.

N33' 30.1601 W117' 39.2288

I should get a referral fee for everyone I send there.

You should be sent to HE!! for sending us to a BURGER joint for breakfast! Dave!! You people are not helping.

I'm thinking linen tablecloths, silver shiny chafing dishes at the buffet, that type of thing.

Whata ya looking for, something along the lines of The Crown Room at the Hotel Del, or the Bellefleur in Carlsbad, or maybe Neimans, or The Beach House , or perhaps The Original Pancake House

NOW we're talking! I'd like it to be someplace up near the campground, though. Does anyone know a place nearby?

There is a Beach House in Dana Point. I would have put some more info on it, but the stupid web developers
1. Used Flash and
2. Didn't do a very good job

And there is an Original Pancake House in Laguna Niguel. Mmmmm Dutch Baby or Apple Pancake soufflé with thick cut sugar cured hickory smoked bacon . . . and the best coffee . . .yum.

Damn, I'm hungry now

Oh, yeah! Yum!

Here is my thought: there is a place called "Pipes" in Cardiff. It's always got a line but you never wait for more than five minutes for a table. And another eight for your food.

I tell my wife that I just don't understand woman logic

Man: Here are several examples of brunch places in the SoCal SD area
Woman: I'd like it to be someplace up near the campground (OC), though
Man: Here are a couple of places that I mentioned that also have locations near the campground.
Woman: Here is my thought: there is a place called "Pipes" in Cardiff (SoCal SD).

OK, sounds good to me

BTW: I assume you knew that there is a Pipes Cafe a few miles south of Dana Point, but Cardiff by the Sean is also King.
