Josh-
Unless the weather gets evil and it rains I'll be there at dawn on Saturday morning. We'll be surfing all morning just north of the river mouth then head for the group camping parking around noon. We'll hang out on the beach till were allowed to set up camp.
If you want to show early call me Friday night. The extra boards will be locked on my roof rack and I can leave you a key. Other wise I figure we'll surf together Saturday afternoon whenever it's good for you. Hopefully you, me, Frogeye and Manuel and whoever else surfs can get in a couple of fun sessions.
I don't know what dawn looks like.
I will try and get there around 10:00, And just to let you know I wouldn't say that I surf, more like I try to. Looking forward to it though.

Is this beach the one at dana point??
That's a big 10-4. Look at the map, I drew a route through the park to the group camping. We are just east of the main camping area and should be very easy to find even if you have never been there.

Nice swell roll'n in on the pic...hope that was taken recently...
High winds hopefully will die down, wind swells where up to 10 to 12 ft. yesterday...then May grey and chance of the "R" word...I'll be there if I don't make the trip up to Mammoth...
