CAMPERS, PLEASE BRING WOOD. NO PALLETS OR CONSTRUCTION SCRAP, IT IS ILLEGAL TO BURN IN STATE PARKS, LOOK ON CRAIGSLIST. ABOUT EVERY DAY SOMEONE HAS A TREE CHOPPED FOR THE TAKING IN THE FREE SECTION.
EDIT!! MuddyGrrl has taken the reigns on ths event and overnight camping space is full. Daytime visitors are still welcome and encouraged to come hang loose with us.
BTW To all camping, this event was funded By MuddyGrrl for the campsite reservation, the way it is broken down is 6 bucks Per camping person. We hate to charge but the state parks gotta get thier cut and we dont want to stick one organizer with the bill.
Thanks for understanding!!
CAMPING IS NOW FULL IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO GET ON A WAIT LIST POST UP OR PM ME OR MUDDYGRRL, ALSO IF YOU ARE ON THE LIST AND FIND YOU CAN'T MAKE IT PLEASE NOTIFY US ASAP SO ANOTHER PERSON MAY PLAN TO TAKE THE SPOT. MAHALO!!

some more pertinent info.
Across Highway 1 there are several hotels within walking distance to the campground in case someone wants to come to the BBQ and not camp.
Alcohol is not allowed on the beach, in the campsite only.
There are three horseshoe pits adjacent to the group campsite with plenty of seating all around.
The group campsite has no trees. Please bring pop-up tents!
There's a big fire ring in the center of the site. Bring all the wood you can!
The group site is a walk-in only. You can drive up to it, drop off your stuff, then go park. There is ample parking but, again, this is Memorial Day Weekend so plan to arrive a little early and wait in line.
The group camp is at the far south end of the campground so we're fairly isolated but quiet time does start at 10:00.
The campsite is located just past the main camping area as you drive SW. On the map below the green tent icon is our camping site. It is called"Group Camping". That is the name, it does not have a site number. Follow the route from the Park Entry icon.
Campsite coordinates
N 33°27'40.44"
W 117°40'42.74"
