LOL secret skides huh I am fortunate, Heather is on the other side of the coin. She always wants to know what I want to do next. I told her I was buying a new tube bender to get started on the bumpers, all she said was "cool"

YaHHHHOOOOO!!!!! Thanks Stan! This will work out perfect!! I can have the skids on before the wife knows about it!! Ooops! Now to keep the kids quiet about it Saturday. Drats foiled again! I would have made it if it weren't for those meddling kids and their dog!
Makayla said that she would help run interference, so you can get them on.

Re: Smokey Mountain Cruisers Memorial Day Weekend Ride & Hike

Jesse and Shannon are cool. It's Anna the 6 yr old that tells mama everything! Just kidding Jamie (wife) is cool about it. However, I did buy a 23' sail boat and tried to hide it from her at Wind Creek for a while. All was going so well, until the 3 month slip rental came due in the mail. I really did not think she bought the excuse "Yeah, honey, a boat company does let you test it out for three months before purchasing it." It reminded me of the episode of the show "Coach" where he had bought a motorcyle and was hiding it under the porch. He and Dauber would sit on their bikes as they laid under the house.

Re: Smokey Mountain Cruisers Memorial Day Weekend Ride & Hike

Here is the plan:

Saturday: Everyone meet at 9am at The Sugarlands Visitors Center - Hike to Cataract Falls (it's at the Visitors Center), then to Roaring Fork Auto Trail then to Cades Cove then to Parsons Branch Rd to The Dragon's Tail out to Pigeon Forge. You will need to pack snacks and/or lunch. Dinner will be back in Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg.

Sunday: Leave Gatlinburg on 321 for hwy 32 to Cataloochee Trail (old NC 284) to hwy 276 to hwy 19 Maggie Valley to Blue Ridge pkwy to Balsam Mountain Rd to Oconaluftee Visitor Center over the Mountain to Cades Cove and go out Rich Mountain Rd to Townsend. You will need to pack snacks, we should be able to get lunch in Maggie Valley or Cherokee.

I am pretty sure that there will be an extra bed somewhere...there is two sets of bunks and 3 sleeper sofa's. Although it may cost ya a cold one!!!
