Re: Trail Teams Invitational May 10/11 Big Bear CA

Awesome day!!! We did Gold Mine Mtn. It was mello but pick up important info from the trail team member.

What did everyone think of the great Team Trail Bag and goodies? Awesome.

Good to be back on the trails again and see some old friends and make some new ones.

I was right behind piper and he pulled a couple of nice moves

My wife wanted to know what the 3 antennas were for?
Thanks! It was a blast! Posted some picks of those moves in the report. But really, it was Kevin from TT that desrves the credit (spotter)

Re: the three antennas, the 102" Stainless Steel Whip (drivers side) is ham radio High Frequency (HF) on this one I can talk directly to stations all over the world. The center antenna on the roof is VHF / UHF also ham radio and is more for local, good sound quality and can also talk around the world but it's not direct and complicated to explain. Lastly, right side is CB

That bag was great! So many things in it. Oh, badge too!

Dom, what's this "market" you speak of?

Well...I do feel bad that we wheeled all day Friday and 1/2 day Saturday, had a great time with friends, and getting all the goodies-without you. But do I feel bad enough that I would give you a badge? hmm...

Re: Trail Teams Invitational May 10/11 Big Bear CA

We got a great canvas army green bag (top quality) with a few mags, a folding shovel and the badge.

This was my first Toyota Trail Team run and I was quite surprised that you got, free lunch and/or dinner, the free bag of goodies and some really great instructions and help.

Top quality run IMO. The team did a great job. We have a 7 month old who wouldnt stop crying unless we were 4-wheelin Its in her blood.

Re: Trail Teams Invitational May 10/11 Big Bear CA

Great event!

Bag of swag from TT and the effort to make sure things went well...priceless!

It's good to know that Toyota is funding events like this to help support new and current owners to get out and enjoy...with the price of gas now, I'm curious how long the big "T" will keep funding events like this...just glad that it's a nice way to say thanks for owning a Toyota.

Met some good people out at the 9am Gold Mtn. run, and unfortunately Blue Bee (new owner) got a flat and decided to turn back after realizing that it would be more of a burden to the group to continue without ATRAC and DIFF LOCK...he rescheduled for a Beg. run at 3pm and redeemed himself!

I'll ask to see if he's willing to give it up for ya.
