Ha! I will be 1 hour away from Shaver Lake, Ca once I'm moved down to Fresno. A buddy of mine said there were some great trails close by. I wonder if this is what he was talking about. Anyway, I'll be coming into town July 2nd. I'll have to see if I can meet them out there. Thanks for the post.

I told MissFJ last night I didn't wanna post up this link...for reasons I wont get into....
but since she DID (and Im glad she did); now I KNOW we probably wont do any of the harder trails, I am more likely to bring my FJ for this run.
As always, I urge you to have recovery equipment...and a fire extingusher, and a first aid kit; at the bare minimum. Spill kits are also useful. TTORA runs now require all of the mentioned items, as well as front and rear recovery points. Stock FJ front points are fine...IMO, its the rear you need to be more prepped for. If ya got a trailer package, get a hitch recovery thingy and a shackle. A tow strap is also recomended....
IF someone gets stuck, and they need to use MY stuff, I ask that they BUY it from me before we 'unstuck' you. My stuff is well taken care of, and I kinda get slightly angry when I have to use MY recovery gear to get people outta hard spots...cause IMO; EVERYONE should already have this stuff. Don't mean to 'burst your bubble'...but just giving ya fair warning. And EVERYONE is welcome on a TTORA run....from old 4runners to new FJ's.
