Northeast Camping/Hiking/Trail Run Event?

Would any Northeasterners be up for this anytime soon?

I think it'd be great to plan a get together now, since the summer always flies by.....

Re: Northeast Camping/Hiking/Trail Run Event?

probably about 8-9 hours, I'd think......

I reall would like to find a good dusty, rocky trail up here and spend some time w/ the East Coast FJ's......camp afterwards or something. It would be a lot of fun

Re: Northeast Camping/Hiking/Trail Run Event?

Does anyone have a place in mind where we could test our FJ's in the Northeast?

If it gets postponed til fall (at this rate it may), let me know. I am planning a trip to Maine and have planned to fly, but hey, the FJ may need a break from the south by that time.

Stupendous Man (CHAD) ... let's hope it doesn't get postponed. :-)

I'm up for a trail run camping trip. I was just up in VT and my buddy took me on an easy back woods logging road. Nothing too treacherous but fun with the kids in the FJ. They got a kick out of the one bog we hit started spewing mud everywhere. My buddy says he knows tons of trails of varying difficulty. He's got a Taco. If a few of us can rally I'm sure he'll be up for the run and there is a campground at a nearby lake not too far from his place in Woodstock. Kayaking and canoeing is also a possibility. Depending on the response we could make it kid and family friendly.
