Cleghorn Saturday May 17th, sunrise run

same thing...different day...a repeat of our last trip at sunrise just a different weekend.

my friends and I are planning a trip to cleghorn trail in California near Lytle Creek Rancho Cucamonga area Saturday May 17th in the early early morning, hence the term sunrise run. The general idea is to either start the trail once the sun rises...so its really early. you have some time to get home afterwards and drink some beer and wash the rig.

this trail is fairly easy and is 4x2 friendly but still has some places to give the 4x4's more of a challenge. run is open to everyone

we will meet at Bass Pro shop off the 15fwy at 6am and leave by 6:15am. we should be done before noon.

check out the link to the last sunrise run. we had a lot of fun and even got to test our recovery skills. more details to come, hope to see you all there.

Cleghorn March 2nd, sunrise run

You'll be home in plenty of time Mike. You can't use the Meet & Eat as an excuse.

I've never run Cleghorn so I may be up for this one. Both literally and figuratively.

Hmm about 2.5 hours to get there, fuel up, play around for 2 hours If nobody gets stuck or broke then 1.5 hours to temecula by 4:30. cuttin it too close for me, plus the 120 bucks in gas I'd rather spend on the meal that day.lol

No one should get stuck...us 4x2's went down a bad section last time that we shoudnt have gone down and that set us back awhile(in fact no 4x4 even went down the last section zoshyii did, the jeeps at the bottom couldnt believe a 4x2 made it through the rock garden). we will avoid this section this time. Zoshyii has to back to LA by 12 noon anyway so we wont be out long. Cleghorn is a fairly easy trail but like I said has hard stuff if you want to be challenged.

meet at Bass Pro at 6am...leave by 6:15

Temecula isnt too far from this area...you should be able to make it, or be casually late
