Alright everyone...We are going to rough it and camp at the point all three nights. I picked up a couple of portable showers today and alot of batteries. Thanks everyone for the offers including Ken's cabin...Shfd aka KOA...and birdman. If anyone cares to join us we will have showers, food, propane, and batteries. I do need the gps cords for the point, and what radio freq will we be using? And oh yeah, we will be there about 1500 tomorrow.

PM sent with detailed instructions on how to get out to the point (w/ GPS). We will be on CB Channel 4 for this run.

I'm thinking that the Cabin thing is not happening since Needles is camping out at the point starting tonight. (I just got off the phone with them and they are just about settled in.)
So. What are the plans for a Friday Night meet and greet?
I, for one, will not be able to attend. I have a 12 hour long student beat-down to perform until 8pm (2000 for you ate-up military folk). I will be completely spent afterwards. But you guys should get together, for sure.
May I suggest the East River Smokehouse mentioned in Post #1?

we've arrived! the trails out to the camping site has been cleared of overhanging branches and those pesky spiders! my wife and I will be here all day tomorrow so if anyone would like to come out early please join us for some drinks and food. just bring a couple bags of ice please and we will reimburse you when you arrive. we also have an extra tent. please contact apex or birdman for contact info if you plan on coming out. happy trails!
