Re: FJ-toberfest! Oct. 11-12 at Eglin Res. (Northwest Florida)

Thanks for the help Dusther, we got alot done on that little trip. I spent the rest of the day clearing the connector between Magnolia and Matt's Crossing. It's fairly good now, there will be no grind-age now.
Speaking of grind-age, the root over by Atwell Pond that took out the quarter panels of SO many rigs over the last few years is now GONE!! It got winched out of the hillside yesterday after doing a number to MY rig. Have also cleared a few run outs to add a few more obstacles for those that just can't get enough!

Soooo, the loop this time will be a bit different with some new stuff along with the usual hot spots. Can't wait to see you all out there!

I assume you speak of YOUR cabin?!?!

If not, then what other ideas are people kicking around in their heads?

I, however will likely be on watch Friday night as a swap to get the rest of the weekend free. (Sucks to be me). We'll see.

Wife, Olympian, and myself will be arriving thursday afternoon. We are going to get our passes first, but after that we would enjoy meeting up with you guys and getting into whatever that evening . Apex, I am sending you my phone #, I have a few questions about trip too.

Check this out for camping without electricity

Re: FJ-toberfest! Oct. 11-12 at Eglin Res. (Northwest Florida)

Ok...I did some research and here is my problem.

We are going no matter what, but in order for us to bring our furry friend (Olympian) our places to stay are very limited.

We can not stay at KOA, they only allow pets if you are in an RV.

We can stay at Eglin AFB, but we need a sponsor to stay there...anyone?

We would prefer to camp, but must have shower because we are camping thurs and fri night. Saturday the group is camping together at beach, right?

Any suggestions or solutions let us know.

Thanks Sam, Shantal, and of course the troublemaker Olympian

You may want to look into camping here:
