Ok...I did some research and here is my problem.

We are going no matter what, but in order for us to bring our furry friend (Olympian) our places to stay are very limited.

We can not stay at KOA, they only allow pets if you are in an RV.

We can stay at Eglin AFB, but we need a sponsor to stay there...anyone?

We would prefer to camp, but must have shower because we are camping thurs and fri night. Saturday the group is camping together at beach, right?

Any suggestions or solutions let us know.

Thanks Sam, Shantal, and of course the troublemaker Olympian
Hey,if anyone needs a shower let me know.I live in Navarre, but I have a cabin on a little lake about 10 minutes from the meet up spot, with clean towels, shampoo, soap, and a clean shower and toilet, hot water, whatever you need.Id be happy to share with yall.My wife and I stay there on the weekends,She will be there,I will be wheeling with y'all, dont be shy, glad to have ya.

Sounds like this could be the solution for Needle's issue. Thanks for putting it up. My best guess was the Comfort Inn that is 3 miles up the road from our meeting spot. They take pets, but at $79 a night, are not the most economical.

We were going to offer to have a cookout at our camper friday night but it looks like the KOA frowns upon visitors and extra vehicles so there goes that idea.

I dont know whats around there, so Im kinda lost on what to suggest.

I could make it ....But its a looong way back to hwy 87 from there.
Smokehouse BBQ in Navarre is pretty near the meet up spot, and they have decent food and a full bar.Might be an idea.Im guessing its about 30 miles closer than Hooters.
Also, there is a cool little beach bar with food,Juana's Pagoda, out on Navarre Beach.
If yall want to have a little get together at my cabin about 1.5 miles from the meet-up,thats an option too.But I do need to know,so I can make arangements,I cut down a bunch of trees over the weekend, and I have a LOT of clean-up left...

Yes, the East River Smokehouse is a real good spot. I would vote on that one.
