"New Owner" celebration- Lewisville, TX anyone going??

I got an invite in the mail for a new Toyota owners get-together tonight at Rene Isip Toyota in Lewisville. (Tuesday, July 11, 2006)

Thought I'd run out there after work and see if any other FJ owners show up, too. (I think there's at least two other forum members that also bought at that dealership.)

Anyway- I hope some other FJs show up.... if not, I'll eat the free dinner by myself. (grin)

Just got back.... I was the only FJ Cruiser owner there.

Was disappointed when we toured the service bay and they said "we have one each of the car models you've bought in the service bay if you want to look at it and ask questions" No FJ =( I was hoping to see one up on the lift.

On the drive out there I did exchange waves with a Titanium Silver FJ from Tyler with a Gobi roof rack and ladder on I-35. Who was that??

I bought mine there, but I'm in Colorado for six weeks so I missed it. It's also a long way for me to drive when I'm home (I live close to White Rock Lake). They don't seem to know much about the FJ out there anyway.
